Issue in setting the http security response header

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Hi Team ,

We are working with a customer and during the PEN Testing they have highlighted issues regarding the Http Response Header wherein they need below security headers to be part of Response Headers.

  1. Content-Security-Policy
  2. x-frame-options

The values can be set by updating the extended settings watt.server.http.Content-Security-Policy and watt.server.http.x-frame-options .

The issue is their Pen Test team has asked to set below particular values.

Content-Security-Policy=Default-src 'self'; object-src 'none'; frame-ancestors 'none'; upgrade-insecure-requests; block-all-mixed-content

X-Frame-Options=deny

But we are not able to set those values.

As mentioned by Global support its a known issues for Content Security Policy.

"there is no option to set custom values for CSP only.

"script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline';" is supported by IS and this is known issue PIE-86926. You can also refer 4.12.5 Content Security Policy in Integration_Server_Best_Practices_Document v1.3.pdf (softwareag.com)

Content Security Policy (CSP):
at this stage, we only support "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline';" and we have no plan for product enhancement however, this CSP topic is reopened and will discuss again with IS Product team.
