Saxon Version

Hi,

we can see the integration server of webmethods comes with a really old version of saxon, version "8.9" which is more than 15 years old and requires JAXB.

we have some tests with newer saxon versions like 11 or 12 using the s9api and the performance is just astonishing, it runs 10 times faster, we had XSLT that took 2hours to execute that we can now execute in less than 10 minutes using the same hardware. The saxon license is quite cheap in comparison with IBM, so we will move code away from webmethods and save cost in transactions as we don't want to pay because IBM is using products that are 15 years old and very slow.

Well just more of an idea, you guys should upgrade it, customers are not paying by cpu anymore but transactions and time is paid quite handsomely, customers like us will look into saving costs and seek move out alternatives.
