wm.io Integration - logCustomMessage Redesign

Current Problem: logCustomMessage is an in-built service used for logging as part of wm.io Integration development. This service directly logs to DB which is causing bottleneck due to JDBC connection pool limited threads. This service will be used frequently in flow service to log, as needed but current documentation requests to limit the usage which is challenging while implementation. 

NOTE: This service is very crucial for Development and AMS Teams for logging /troubleshooting and can't limit the usage always. 

Proposed Resolution: 

  • This service needs to be redesigned to decouple direct logging to DB - Pub/Sub can be used to ensure smooth logging without interrupting the overall turnaround time of flow execution.
  • Also, destination option needs to be provided like DB, files, ES... etc.
