Enhancement Request – Encrypt Password During Login Authentication to Prevent Unencrypted Sensitive Data Transmission in Developer Portal

During VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing), a security observation was identified in the application login portal authentication flow.

Currently, while submitting credentials (username and password) through the login page, the password appears to be transmitted in an unencrypted or insufficiently protected format over the network/request payload. This behavior has been flagged under "Unencrypted Sensitive Data Transmission" as it may expose authentication credentials to interception or unauthorized access during transit.

As per security best practices and compliance requirements, sensitive information such as passwords must be protected using strong encryption mechanisms during transmission and should never be exposed in plain text or reversible form.
