RELATED IDEAS

Inlcude IAM3 ( node for log4j ) into the main product

IAM3 enables highly configurable logging formats and targets by utilizing log4j.
IAM3 is a well accepted supportPac and should find its way into the core product.

    RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been in the status of Under Consideration. At time of writing, it should be noted that the latest version of the IAM3 support pac is v1.2.4a (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/iam3-websphere-message-broker-node-log4j) which introduced "support" for ACEv11.0.0.3 This means that if you did find any issue with the node you could report it to the author of the pack and they would do their best to respond. Category 2 SupportPacs are provided in good faith and AS-IS. There is no warranty or further service implied or committed and any supplied sample code is not supported via IBM product service channels. Having noted these support statements, we acknowledge that formal product support is what is being requested in this RFE, so accordingly we are updating the status to Uncommitted Candidate.
