This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

After analysis of the diagnostics including the service trace, memory and performance test results IBM lab team recreated the issue of the high memory usage and low performance of the MS Blob Storage node.
Service trace shows around 3 seconds for the execution of the message flow using MS Blob Storage node with large file processing (like above 50MB).
1. The AzureBlobStorage endpoint API call using @ibm-app-connect/connector-request-helper module is taking 0.682 secs.
2. Object deep clone in the connector took 0.7seconds.
3. Mapping objects in the node took 0.8seconds.
As stated by lab team, with the current design of the Microsoft Azure Blob storage Request node, the observed memory usage and execution time are expected.
To reduce the memory usage for large file uploads, the node mostly needs streaming-based file upload functionality which is currently missing.
We would like to request redesign of the Microsoft Azure Blob storage Request node to minimize/optimize memory usage and performance.
