Trigger file for the WMB FileInput node

Per IBM documentation, the FileInput node processes the files according to their age; the oldest files are processed first regardless of where they appear in the directory structure. We have a requirement to wait for the "trigger" file and process it first, which is the newest created file indicating that the SFTP process can start processing the "older" data files.
IBM feedback of 07/23/2013: *** There is no other way at the moment but it is an often asked for requirement. I recommend opening an RFE to request it. File read nodes can give you more control over the files read but they do require you to configure your own triggering of the flow.***

RFE Review. ACE 12.0.4.0 introduced a new FileExists input node which is triggered by the arrival of an input file in a nominated directory of the local file system. Metadata about the file is propagated through the flow (enabling the user to create message flows which make decisions or optionally read the data in the file dependent on other factors) whilst the file itself is initially left in position. There may be future further enhancements to this new node, so please take a look at it and feel free to open a new requirement against the new node should you find anything further you feel it would benefit from. Status of the idea is closed.

RFE Review. This area remains of interest to us, and despite not being an immediate business priority, it is an idea we will continue to monitor for popularity. Status updated to Uncommitted Candidate.

Completely agreed, and thanks for raising this requirement. We'd like to implement a means to achieve triggered file processing in a follow-on release, and this is a high priority candidate.
