PT-BR: Gostariamos que nos nodes Kafka (Consumer/Producer/Read), seja possível informar o nome do tópico. Este nome informado deverá ser válido e já existir nos brokers kafka conectados.

EN-US: We would like the Kafka nodes (Consumer/Producer/Read) to allow for manual input of the topic name. This entered name must be valid and already exist on the connected Kafka brokers.

    Gustavo and all others,

    Thank you for taking the time to raise this request to IBM App Connect Enterprise (AEC) team. We recognize the value this enhancement brings in improving usability of Kafka Consumer, Producer, and Read nodes by allowing easier selection or entry of existing topic names.

    This RFE has been accepted and is already under future consideration. The enhancement will be evaluated alongside other Kafka usability improvements for a future release, and updates will be shared as plans progress.

    This feature is essential for all those clients with huge amount of topics, making it terrible to search through the list.

    The topics dropdown available in "Kafka consumer node" lists unordered topic names.

    It takes too long to select a specific topic when the cluster has many topics on it.

    By allowing to enter the topic name (or provide a filter to the dropdown) would solve the problem.
