Designer: Support for APIs with pagination

We have several APIs which rely on pagination, so we need to iteratively read data from a given offset. But this would need the ability to iterate over a REST call and to store pointers from the last iteration.

The latter seems not to be feasible with Designer currently.

    Thank you for taking the time to raise this request to IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) team. We recognize the value this capability brings in enabling effective integration with REST APIs that rely on pagination, particularly for use cases requiring iterative data retrieval and downstream batch-style processing.

    This RFE has been accepted for future consideration. The request aligns with enabling broader batch-oriented patterns in Designer, including paginated REST requests and bulk-style processing. Further design work is required to address iteration handling and state management in a way that remains consistent with the Designer authoring model.

    This RFE is a candidate for a future release; no committed timeline at this time. We’ll keep you updated as planning and design progress.
