Thank you for raising this. We understand the impact that Salesforce's upcoming security changes — specifically the removal of the SOAP API Login method and the deprecation of the "Any API Connect" permission by 2027 — will have on existing App Connect Professional orchestrations using Salesforce endpoints.
However, we are rejecting this request.
App Connect Professional is no longer under active enhancement. We are not investing in new feature development or compatibility updates for this product.
If you are looking to future-proof your Salesforce integrations, we would encourage you to explore migrating to IBM App Connect Enterprise, which provides full support for REST API-based Salesforce integrations and is the strategic platform for ongoing investment and innovation.
Currently we have ~100 ACP jobs that connect to Salesforce using the SOAP login() API. We need to know as soon as possible whether IBM plans any workaround or update for ACP so we can begin migration planning immediately.
