Provide a mechanism to produce a slimmed‑down ACE image/installation to reduce exposure

Although the ACE Certified Container disables unused components at startup, those components still remain present in the image and therefore remain theoretically vulnerable. We are requesting a mechanism to generate a slimmed‑down ACE image or installation that includes only the required features, reducing exposure to CVEs associated with unused components.

Provide an officially supported mechanism or build option that allows customers to generate a reduced ACE image or installation footprint containing only the components they actively use. This could be achieved through modular packaging, feature‑level exclusions, or a build‑time configuration that removes unused components entirely rather than simply disabling them.
