SharePoint connector will fail after ACS retirement — request for certificate / client_assertion support in ACE Azure connector

The IBM App Connect Enterprise SharePoint connector depends on ACS for OAuth token management. With the retirement of Azure Access Control Service (ACS) for SharePoint Online on 2April 2026 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/dev/sp-add-ins/retirement-announcement-for-azure-acs and others soon to follow, connectors that rely on ACS-managed tokens will fail. We request native support for certificate‑based client authentication (client_assertion / client_assertion_type) in the ACE Azure and SharePoint connectors so integrations can continue to authenticate to Azure AD without custom workarounds at attached.
