Support shipping ACE logs using OpenTELemetry

We run IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) on OpenShift. Traces are currently shipped via OpenTelemetry (OTEL) to Instana, while logs are forwarded to Splunk using the OpenShift Logging ClusterLogForwarder / Splunk agent.

Splunk supports log ingestion over OTEL, but ACE does not yet emit logs via the OTEL protocol. We request that ACE add native support for OTEL log export, enabling a unified telemetry pipeline (traces and logs) over a single protocol.

The absence of this capability has a direct licensing impact - our OpenShift entitlement is provided through CP4I, we have had to separately purchase Red Hat OpenShift entitlement to cover the Splunk agents running on the ACE worker nodes. Native OTEL log support in ACE would eliminate this additional cost.
