Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate status. Since raised in 2012, the product has evolved significantly in this area. With the advent of shared and static libraries it is possible to group ESQL functions and procedures in both a shared and isolated context .. and in ACE 12.0.3.0 with the introduction of a new style of Subflow UDN, we also give users the option of a pseudo private interface for ESQL code. Given these changes we are closing this RFE as delivered, but if you feel there is still an aspect to be addressed then please feel free to raise a new idea against the latest product level making it clear which parts you feel still need attention. Many thanks!
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
Thanks for raising this requirement. We have a strategic intent to make it easier to develop nodes/connectors for the Broker, and also to make the sharing of assets easier to accomplish (e.g. V8 applications and libraries). This requirement is consistent with this strategy, and we will investigate at the next available opportunity.
