Publication using Broker UserID

Please provide the option to choose that messages are published under brokerID.

This was the behaviour before upgrade to WMB 7.0.0.5 (see APAR IC81853: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg1IC81853)
Currently we run with MQSI_PUBSUB_USE_BROKER_USERID=y that allowd us to revert to previous behaviour. You may choose to officially document this property.

Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this idea has been in the status of Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration. Support for the environment variable continues in the codebase through to the more recent ACE versions as well. Noting the single vote on this request, we are wondering if there is sufficient appetite from users to keep this suggestion open longer - especially given that it seems that the behaviour you are after is satisfied through the application of the env var. We will continue to monitor for now, and therefore maintain the status at Future Consideration but if further support from the community is not forthcoming we will move to close this idea at next review.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

Agreed; thanks for raising this requirement. We would like to enable this capability in a follow-on release or fixpack - not using the environment variable but by implementing using a more formal mechanism (e.g. broker property) that fits into the broker's administration framework. Thanks!
