AMQP Specific node

AMQP is a standard that more messaging providers are electing to implement and support. IBM's stance is that AMQP can be accomplished thru JMS. IBM has no plans to support AMQP.

RFE Review. We have again reviewed this suggestion, and due to the limited support this idea has received over many years being active in the system, unfortunately on this occasion we have decided not to take this idea further forward.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

Thanks for raising this requirement. We try to deliver connectors that reflect the systems that our clients are using. This includes a variety of messaging systems, and it's useful to know that you have a need for native AMQP connectivity. We'll investigate such a node for a follow-on release or fixpack. In the mean time, there is connectivity using JMS, like you suggest. You might also want to look at contributing towards a user-defined connector using the open-source connector framework; see Thanks and regards.
