This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

RFE Review. This enhancement suggestion has been open since 2014 and has received 3 votes over this 8 year period. We have re-assessed the initial attachment and note many conceptual similarities between the suggestion and the architectural changes we have been pushing into the product since ACEv11 came to market:
The separation of environmental overrides from the main code expressed in a master BAR file is incredibly similar to the concept of the working directory's run subdirectory for holding deployed BAR content, and the use of the overrides sub-directory for policy overrides.
The ability to carry non-overridden policies directly in the BAR file to both enable and disable separations of concern between developers and administrative users
Whilst not exactly the same commands as described in the document, we feel the architectural evolution of the product now enables the core thinking behind the suggestion. This, coupled with the lack of further supportive votes or comments since the last review update in October 2020, leads us to close the requirement. Please feel free to raise a new requiement against the latest architecture if you feel there are remaining valuable elements which still need addressing.
RFE Review. This area remains of interest to us, and despite not being an immediate business priority, it is an idea we will continue to monitor for popularity. Status updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
