JDBC Connection Verification

There is a command available in the base Integration Bus called mqsicvp which allows an administrator to verify that the database connectivity for an ODBC connection is setup correctly. There currently is no similar facility available for JDBC connections set up via a configurable service. I would like to request that this capability be added to the broker to allow administrators to ensure that the node is configured correctly before an application is deployed.

    RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been in the status of Uncommitted Candidate. As part of our policy for regularly reassessing aged RFEs we have recently discussed this enhancement request and although we have been unable to justify the business priority of this requirement so far, it remains on our radar for potential future development. Status of the RFE is maintained as Uncommitted Candidate.

    Good requirement, thanks for raising. We'd love to add validation of managed JDBC connections in a follow-on release.
