Mapping node unit tester

There are two type of maps available in the toolkit: XML Data map and the Message Map. The XML Data Map provides a map tester that allows to test the map directly into the toolkit without the need to deploy the flow. This is not available for the Message Map. Although the target engine is different the XML representation of the map is quite similar. Would be nice to have the same possibility for the message map (this was also available in the WID for WESB).

RFE Review. We continue to monitor this RFE. It is likely that our next engineering release will have a major focus on unit testing capabilities, so this RFE remains of interest to us. For now, status is maintained as Uncommitted Candidate.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
    Brand - WebSphere
    Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB

Thanks for raising this requirement. We'd love to see better unit testing and debug capabilities in the mapping node specifically, and will get to these in time. Meanwhile, take a look at the general purpose unit testing capability in the IIB V10 Open Beta and let us know what you think.
