File Input Node FTP Subdirectory Poll

In IIB v10 during File Input Node use for Remote Location, Subdirectory search option and also allow wild card use while giving directory will be a good shortcut for development.

It will be nice if File Input Node supports to use of patterned(./*/Input) Remote subdirectory as ./dir/Input/ , ./dir1/Input/ , ./dir2/Input/ , ./dir3/Input/. Also a Poll Option for include all subdirectories permit to access by given FTP user in remote directories.

    Idea / RFE Review. As noted, whilst we have support for wildcarding the name of the file which is polled for, and exclusion patterns, and local subdirectory polling, unfortunately we don't currently offer wildcarding of the remote (S)FTP directory name. This enhancement request has received moderate support since it was raised so we intend to continue monitoring for business justification for investment. Idea is maintained as status of "Future consideration".

    Thanks for raising this RFE. I interpret this request as wanting similar behaviour for subdirectory and patterned poll that you get with local directories for FTP as well. Status of this RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
