Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this idea has been in the status of Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration. Since this suggestion was initially created, the product's architecture in ACEv11 and ACEv12 has evolved considerably. The data which is stored by the product on disk is no longer held in directories named with UUIDs, making it much easier and more portable to copy and paste configuration when attempting to clone or relocate an integration node. So, although it is true that we don't have a specific mqsichangebroker command or equivalent to switch the configuration of the sharedworkpath to a new value, the ability to move a node's definition between filesystems has become much more straightforward. You could nowadays recreate your node (with the new shared workpath value) and copy fondiguration from the old location as a very simple workaround for the lack of a specific command for this purpose. With this progress in mind, and the small number of votes (two) received for this request since it was created over five years ago, unfortunately on this occasion we have decided not to take this idea suggestion forward.
Thank you for taking time to raise this RFE. As you're aware, when an integration node is created and enabled for multi-instance mode using the -e flag, the node's workPath is divided between data specific to the integration node instance, and data which is shared between the node and its passive instance created using the mqsiaddbrokerinstance command. The shared data is then held in a directory on network storage at the location that is specified using the -e flag. Currently the IIB product does not offer the chance to relocate this directory (such as via a sharedworkpath property on mqsichangebroker command for example) nor "clone" a node's configuration data to a new directory. This would be a good enhancement for the product, and as such status of this RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
