RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate status. As part of our standard approach to RFEs we regularly re-assess those in Uncommitted Candidate status for continued relevance. Despite this request being open for several years, and supported by a relatively small number of votes, we still wish to preserve the status as we feel this would add long-term value to the product. Whilst there are workarounds available for this situation (using our flow API and using java code outside of the pattern framework to interact with the generated projects), we still feel this would be a good idea. We will continue to monitor for signs of popularity. Status of the RFE is maintained as Uncommitted Candidate.

Thanks for raising this requirement. Excellent suggestion, and the engineering would be pretty straightforward; we'll consider implementing this in a follow-on release or fixpack when we make our next set of patterns improvements.
