IIB Heartbeat Logs

This request is related to Case TS000122919 - IIB Processing stalled; could not find errors in any logs. It was recommended to us to enter an RFE for IIB heartbeat logs. If heartbeat logs existed for IIB, they could be turned on so they could continuously tell the state of the IIB processes.

    RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this RFE and apologies for the length of time it has been in Submitted status. We will be updating the status of this RFE to Uncommitted Candidate, but having gone through the salesforce case history it is not apparent what exactly is desired in terms of the "heartbeat" which you refer to. ACEv11 provides a new administration log feature, and there is also activity log feature of IIBv10 and ACEv11 which doesn't seem to be mentioned in the case at all. Perhaps if you could let us know the transport used by the message flow which appeared to be "hung" then this might help us figure out what content to place into such a heartbeat log and with what frequency. Did you have any workload processing on a message flow thread at the time of the problem? Maybe message flow thread reporter would be helpful to you as well? ( Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
