How to encrypt a file in IIB

Hi ,

We have a requirement to send an encrypted file to a third party system.

We are trying to explore if there is any option in IIB that can be leveraged to encrypt any file.

We came across "Crypto node" mentioned in the IBM Developer community in below link.
https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/1412_mohta/1412_mohta.html

If not Crypto Node, is there any feature in IIB which can be leveraged to encrypt a file using above ciphers AES256/CAST5.

Please let us know.

Regards,
Manoj

RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this RFE and apologies it has been in Submitted status for a while. It is currently possible to encrypt data using 3rd party libraries by executing code within a JavaCompute node. That said, the plugin node capability referenced in the suggestion is seen by many as a quicker and more user friendly way of getting this up and running. We agree that formal adoption of the crypto node or equivalent OOTB capability would enhance the product. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
