Add Get All feature to Embedded Global Cache

We currently use the full WebSphere Extreme Scale extensions on some of our integration nodes and are exploring if we can use the Embedded Global Cache for support of some other less complicated grids on some of our other nodes and are running into an issue that seems to be available with WXS but not with the embedded cache.

We are looking for a way to display all of the contents of a map/grid in IIB's embedded cache.

We have not had any success in finding a method that displays the grid contents without having a key for the desired ‘row'. Our users have gotten accustomed to a feature we have with the full external WXS cache to display the contents of an entire map That process uses java code and a createDynamicIndex method from the objectGrid to retrieve all of the keys for a map into a HashIndex – then gets the data for each key from the map and assembles it into a response that is displayed:
void com.ibm.websphere.objectgrid.BackingMap.createDynamicIndex(MapIndexPlugin arg0, DynamicIndexCallback arg1) throws IndexAlreadyDefinedException, IllegalArgumentException

We haven't found a corresponding method in the embedded cache to pull all of the keys (or dump the data) for a map. We would like the embedded cache to support the use of a Dynamic Index which is currently only available when using the full WXS extension?

    RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this RFE and apologies it has been in Submitted status for so long. We agree that this enhancement would improve the product. This RFE is very similar to a long-standing RFE we have had in our system (http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewChangeRequest&CR_ID=41935), but given the superior number of votes on this RFE rather than return this as a duplicate, we will keep both open for now and monitor them together. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
