This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate status. Since the time this was initially raised, the product's move from configurable services to policies in ACEv11 has improved this area of functionality in the sense that policies can be deployed in a BAR file, so configuration of the message flow in your use case may have become easier to achieve (in the sense that administrators scripting the creation of the configurable service is no longer needed). Of course, we are suggesting here that part of the reason for the request to configure the properties directly on the node rather than as part of a configurable service may have been related to this inconvenience. In any case, we feel that there could be further improved value by also duplicating properties directly on to the node as suggested. Status of the RFE is maintained as Uncommitted Candidate.
Thanks for raising this RFE and for discussing this topic by telephone. To clarify the requirement, our understanding is that you like the functional options currently supplied via the TCPIP configurable service as documented here:
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSMKHH_10.0.0/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/bn28746_.htm
Specifically you make great use of the MinimumConnections and MaximumConnections, and this RFE represents a desire to configure these values on a TCPIP node rather than via configurable service. I think the aspect of the RFE where you refer to "provide UDP drop-down list for applicable parameters" is a reference to the fact that currently you like the ability to dynamically change UDPs of a message flow post-deployment, and would like a similar user experience for TCPIP properties (I also note the separate RFE regarding configuration of UDPs as an enumerated list: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rfe/execute?use_case=viewChangeRequest&CR_ID=83358).
The status of this RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
