BAR override files in YAML format

Our team uses BAR override files when deploying our applications, as it lets ut easily change our application's properties between our different environments (i.e. dev, QA, production).

It should be possible to override properties in BAR files with override files in YAML format. YAML is widely used in the cloud native world, and many of the third party tools which help accelerate a business' productivity support only YAML (and, to some degree, JSON).

YAML files would also be easier to read than the BAR override files which are used today.

    Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request. In general we see the value in using yaml format as a more user-friendly and modern option to provide configuration data, hence our adoption of that format for the server and node conf.yaml files in ACEv11. Applying this format to BAR file overrides as another alternative for users would bring additional value to the product. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
