WS-Security with specific providers

Enhancements in policy set editor to address the following things: In the policy set editor, it is hard to relate the GUI options to what will appear in the headers. The policy set editor affords no way to create custom fields where the WS-Security spec allows (unfortunately, IMO) xsd:any.

    Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration status. This suggestion has now been open since September 2012 and unfortunately through that time has never received votes or community comments. Whilst the suggestion is still valid in that there are functional enhancements which would improve the WS-* capabilities, and no doubt usability improvements we could make to simplify the editor, this is not an area of business investment for us right now ... Given the industry focus on REST APIs, and the shift in this direction, it is hard to prioritise Web Services enhancements. Unfortunately on this occasion we do not intend to take this suggestion further forward.

    Thanks for raising this requirement. Custom fields sounds like a reasonable addition to the policy set editor, and will look to add this support in a follow-on delivery.
