IIB dumps should be able to be suppressed by DAE

Dumps are not suppressed by DAE in IIB v9 or v10 (or presumably, IBM ACE).

We had an issue where we were receiving 100+ dumps per day from IIB with no way to suppress them.

Per IBM development:
All attempts to enable the ability to suppress the IIB dumps have been unsuccessful. The IIB code that manages the dump handling was designed / written pre 64-bit addressing on z/OS and we suspect the fact that we are unable to suppress the IIB dumps is down to a 32/64 bit translation problem. This area of code would require a complete redesign and full product testing in order to enable this feature and we are unable to provide this in the support stream.

We would like to see the ability to suppress dumps for IBM IIB/ACE.

    RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this request for enhancement. We note the communications you have had with the IBM Level 3 support case, which documents the need for a complete redesign and full product testing in order to enable this feature. This enhancement would require a major engineering release vehicle (on your stated platform of zOS). We will monitor this RFE for popularity and bear it in mind the next time a committed plan is constructed for a new major engineering release on zOS. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
