RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to submit this request for enhancement. We agree that this use case does sound like the kind of situation where the ACE software product would be a good choice given our strong capabilities for XML parsing, high performance C based runtime engine, and our heritage interacting in IOT situations (for example with the built in MQTT message flow nodes and our App Connect for Manufacturing deliverable). Regarding the specific mention of Influx DB, this is the first time we have been asked for out of the box support for this product, so we will be interested to observe whether this RFE gathers supportive comments from other ACE users. For now, we also note that there are some client side APIs available for interaction with Influx DB including one in Java for example, so until such time as this RFE receives business prioritization it might be worth investigating a solution built around a JavaCompute node. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
