SSL Certificate - Self-Signed Certificate Port 9443 - TS003140236
While this is not a system down situation, it is a high priority item. Our security team has performed a system scan and found the following item:
Issue: SSL Certificate - Self-Signed Certificate Port 9443 SSL Certificate - Signature Verification Failed Vulnerability Port 9443 Currently 9443 is using the supplied "Factory Supplied Identity" certificate. A self signed certificate that comes with the system.
Question: This certificate is not used by the Management and Data networks, only by IBM's internal reserved port 9443. We have a proper certificate resident on the appliance. 1. How to delete "Factory Supplied Identity" certificate from the Trust Store without issue? 2. Alternative solution remediate this issue.
Refer to this IBM Case TS003140236 more details.
