This feature has now been delivered. Recording function using a remote default queue manager is documented here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/containers_cd?topic=runtimes-viewing-details-about-integration-runtime and then latterly replaying messages through the remote default queue manager also became supported in release 11.6.0 … Search for section "Support for the replay feature for deployed integration runtimes in the App Connect Dashboard" on page https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/containers_cd?topic=release-notes-latest-release
Thank you for raising this RFE. We agree that this would make an excellent enhancement to the product, and is aligned with our general strategy of (where possible) allowing queue managers and integration servers to be further decoupled when running in containers, and thus better able to be independently scaled/maintained/serviced etc. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
