Policy Set Bindings and Security Profile Informaiton Not Visible In Message Broker Explorer

Message Broker Explorer should provide information on deployed message flow resources about the configured Policy Set, Policy Set Bindings, Security Profile and Monitor Profile information.

The following properties can be set on individual message flows in a BAR file before deployement but are not visible on deployed resources: Consumer Policy Set, Consumer Policy Set Bindings, Security Profile Name, Provider Policy Set, Provider Policy Set Bindings, and Monitoring Profile. Name. These properties are not retained when the bar file is rebuilt and are not visible in the Message Broker Explorer when viewing the properties of deployed message flows.

Additionally, individual nodes in a message flow can contain local overrides for the flow level properties mentioned above. These node level properties are also not visible in MB Explorer.

Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration status. The IIB / ACE product architecture has significantly evolved since the time this suggestion was created. There is no longer a Message Broker Explorer component as part of the product, but the concept of defining policy sets/bindings has been carried forward with the product. This kind of configuration is now defined in a policy project and is deployable as part of a BAR file, and also overrideable through placement directly into the overrides subdirectory of the server's working directory. In this way, it is possible to display the current policy settings and the flows to which they apply. These configurations are also retrievable through our administration API. Similar comments also apply to Monitoring profiles which can now flexibly be applied at deployment time, or dynamically some time later. Given these advances, we are closing this suggestion as delivered, but in the unlikely event you feel further enhancements are needed in this functional area then please feel free to raise a new issue against the more recent product versions.
