Performance Improvement - First API call taking more time for Salesforce activities

We build http ‘API' service to place orders to third parties using App Connect (IBM Cast Iron), but in the first time execution, observed that the Salesforce activities are taking much time to complete when compared to subsequent times.

Salesforce activities - Query/Insert/Update

When we perform the above activities in Salesforce directly taking less time.

    Thanks for opening the RFE. We have explored several options on addressing, but the issue still seems to be appearing. We will review this item again in future backlog planning.

    I tried to update the supporting document but system says "Error occurred during scanning" For additional details/screenshot get from IBM support ticket.
