Workspace App Connect

Download document representing user defined connector

Raised on behalf of a customer.

System: IBM App Connect
Actor: A user wishing to export and import a flow containing a user defined connector like OpenAPI or SOAP (as described here: https://developer.ibm.com/integration/docs/app-connect/how-to-guides-for-apps/use-ibm-app-connect-openapi/)

Description: In order to successfully import a flow containing an OpenAPI or SOAP connector to a new instance of App Connect, the connector needs to have been already created in that instance. Currently there is not a way to download the document (either openapi or wsdl) that was used when creating the connector. If it is a different user trying to export/import the flow then they might not have the original document.

Thanks for opening this RFE. Whilst we approve of the principle of the enhancement request, we will consider this work item in our future work items planning. We will provide an update once there is a decision.
