This is already available for integration servers (remote), it would be useful to see this extended for nodes too.
Support was recently added to allow SYSTEM.BROKER.** queue prefixes for default remote queue managers used by integration servers. This aligns with the notion of a queue manager representing a (stateful) service to integration (in much the same way that Kafka or databases might be viewed), rather than strongly coupled. It also supports the minimal container concept, without mixing the non-functional requirements between integration and such services.

Idea / RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request, which we agree would improve the product. As noted, we have provided the ability to use a remote default queue manager for independent integration servers running in containers. In this architectural model, having an associated prefix makes it easier to share a queue manager between multiple servers and isolate their queueing needs from one another. Status of the idea is updated to Future Consideration.
