Support for Windows Truststore

We are using Windows 2019 in combination with IBM App Connect.
We would like to use the windows Trust store instead of the Java Truststore/Keystore.
I know for Java is a parameter: -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType=WINDOWS-ROOT which allows Java to query windows Trust store so it would be nice if App Connect would also support this

Hi Ben. Thank you for your review. I didn't know inbound uses different technology then outbound and in that case I don't think it will add too much value just to have outbound connection use the Windows truststore. In that case maybe better keep is as it is.

Idea review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this suggestion. We see there would potentially be value in this for future consideration although we do note that the ACE Java implementation of PKI is used for outbound communications where as for inbound communications, we utilise OpenSSL. We would be interested in whether the outbound only side would give sufficient value for anyone interested in voting on this idea. Status updated to Future Consideration.
