Idea review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this idea. This issue has been raised before (https://integration-development.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/APPC-I-624), and after previous discussion it was closed as not under consideration on the grounds that there is already a good option within the Toolkit to avoid resource usage in the circumstances described through a preferences panel option (which was also referred to in the linked case in this request). This said, we accept the argument that a disconnect option could still be argued as a positive step forward for the Toolkit on the grounds of potential for accidental drag and drop deploy on to the wrong connected integration node. Having a disconnect option would allow a user to temporarily "block" deployment to particular nodes not currently being used, but by "disconnecting them". Whilst this item is not a high priority for us, we will move the status to Future Consideration this time around.
