change user password via webUI - after IIBM 10.0.X - no longer possible

Hello colleagues,

There's no option to change the user password within the IBM IIB webUI via "edit profile" options. As understood it was removed with the release of 10.1.

Especially for z/OS it is helpful because changing it via the command line is not so easy and not all people has access to start the respective job.

    Idea Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request. Unfortunately enabling this feature on IIBv10.1 on zOS would require the product to force log out all other session users when such a password change it made. This is technically feasible but complex. The work would also require significant reworking of the v10 dojo based Web UI, which may well be upgraded in a future product version and therefore perhaps be a sensible pre-req to the enablement of the requested feature. Given these technical constraints it is not likely that this request will be prioritised soon, but we are moving to Future Consideration status and will continue to monitor its popularity.
