Ability to playback / preview media files like video, photos, and audio in Faspex

With Faspex 5.0.4, our clients do not have an ability to preview media files like video, photos, or audio. Many of our competitors have this feature – even the the lowly Dropbox – which, granted, obviously lacks many of the features of Faspex.

Yes, preview capability is a must-have in Faspex 5.

At least in par with Aspera on Cloud capability.

This is pretty much low hanging fruit, as there exist external preview-generators, like "aspera-cli", and the node api comes with a preview capability.

My suggestion would be to add the capability in Faspex 5 (and AoC) to link an external previewer application, for example by adding the possibility to add a customer menu to files.

Also, worth to mention, Faspex 5 and Dropbox do not really address the same need.

Dropbox, like Box.com. etc are EFS solution ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enterprise_file_synchronization_and_sharing ) not Faspex.

For example, EFSS solution provide full video view and online documentation edition.

on the other hand Faspex addresses the need for fast transfer of very large files on long distance.
