Shares Notification for API-Initiated Transfers to Shared Folders

I was informed by IBM Support that API-initiated transfers to Shares folders in the Shares application do not generate notifications for newly delivered content by design.

We would like to request that this capability be added. Customers expect to receive notifications when new content is delivered to Shares, regardless of how the transfer is initiated.
