RELATED IDEAS

IBM to support PaaS database for ILMT

We are currently running IBM ILMT with a MSSQLSERVER database hosted on an AWS EC2 instance, which requires our team to manage the underlying operating system and database patching. We would like to request IBM to evaluate and officially support Amazon RDS for SQL Server as a supported database backend for ILMT. Migrating to RDS would significantly reduce our operational overhead. Since BigFix v11 already supports RDS, we believe ILMT should also support this migration path to maintain consistency across our IBM infrastructure stack.
