Run IBM MQ control commands over HTTPS

As our highly regulated firm moves to running its applications in containers a non negotiable policy decision was made to remove SSH access to containers.

This means we cannot easily move MQ to containers as we have no way to run the MQ control commands.

We would like the ability to run the control commands over HTTPS.

Perhaps using the Web console or REST API ( or both ) or some other mechanism.

Thank you for submitting this idea. At this time we are not able to put this into our roadmap due to other items that are currently in plan. We understand that this is causing issues moving your workload to containers and so this is something that we will continue to bring up during planning future planning meetings but that this time do not anticipate delivering within the next 12 months.
