We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas

Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive a notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
If you encounter any issues accessing the Ideas portal, please send email describing the issue to email@example.com for resolution. For more information about IBM's Ideas program visit ibm.com/ideas.
Please add functionality to use ACE REST nodes to call REST based backend services, using separate application keystore instead of broker keystore.
We want to segregate the application related certs from Infrastructure certs for Message level encryption. As PolicySets and PolicySetBindings are applicable for only SOAP nodes. We have JSON based REST service at the backend, so we need to use ei...
When creating integrations, having to use the mouse to add nodes is a tedious task. Adding a hotkey for the "add node" and "add subflow" feature would make it faster and easier than sifting through the palette to find the correct node
In the new way of deploying AppConnect on Kubernetes, the support of a local MQ queue manager (within the same pod) has been not recommended or at least not promoted. The recommendation is to have a remote queue manager. The FTE node in ACE still ...

ACE Record and Replay - remote queue manager support for consuming and replaying of messages
ACE can be configured to publish monitoring events that are used for the recording and replaying of messages via its WebUI to a remote queue manager, but it requires a local queue manager and bindings-mode to consume and replay the messages.

Currently only system logs (BIP, ...) are sent over ELK configuration to Logstash agent. We would like to write also monitoring events directly to Logstash agent.Currently, ACE supports logging monitoring events only via MQ/MQTT to topic.
Add MS SQL support into Business Transaction Monitoring -ACE v.12
I'm really happy to see that BTM is back in ACE v.12.0.2, it is a feature we've been missing since IIB v.10. Unfortunately BTM is currently only supported for db2 and Oracle and in our organization we only have MS SQL Servers. So, sadly, we can no...

Currently in ACE within the custom XPath mapper there is function available, iib:getUserDefinedProperty(), which will allow you to retrieve the value of a user defined property. However, when using Xpath expressions in the properties of a node the...
Functionality exists to access the global cache from Java within IIBv9, and from a graphical map within IIBv10. While it's possible to create Java functions and access them from within ESQL, this still requires a level of Java knowledge and is not...
