Ability to Override Connection Parameters for Discovery Connector Nodes

We would like to propose the addition of functionality that allows overriding connection parameters for discovery connector nodes, such as the Microsoft Azure Blob Storage Request node.

This feature would enable the development of reusable connectors whose sole purpose is to perform transfers across different integration flows, without requiring manual reconfiguration of the connector node in each flow. Our primary use case involves the Azure connector, but we believe this capability would be broadly valuable across all discovery connectors.

    Thank you for taking the time to raise this request to IBM. We recognize the value this capability brings in enabling reuse and simplifying configuration management across integration flows that use discovery connectors.

    This RFE has been accepted for future consideration. Support for overriding connection parameters is already available today, and we will continue to evaluate opportunities to improve the overall experience and consistency across discovery connectors based on customer feedback.

    Consiering the complexity or difficulty level in cross‑connector consistency and tooling alignment, no specific delivery timeline is committed at this time. Enhancements will be considered for a future release, and we’ll provide updates as plans progress.
