CI/CD Deployment for ACE with Gitlabs

Hi Team,

We are currently implementing a CI/CD pipeline using GitLab to automate API development and manage API versioning within GitLab Enterprise for App Connect and API Connect. While the BAR file builds successfully and we can download it using the same cURL command with the configured credentials, we face a deployment failure.

Note: FYI, It is working fine with GitHub.

The deployment error received is:

Error when patching "STDIN": admission webhook "mutate.appconnect.ibm.com" denied the request: Error getting BAR: BarURL – Non-OK HTTP status returned: 403. Please check the credentials provided in your barauth configuration.

We would appreciate your guidance on how to resolve this issue, with a particular focus on ensuring smooth automation in the CI/CD process.

    Hello Jayesh,

    Thanks for your time in raising this RFE for the IBM App Connect Enterprise Team.

    From the contents of the RFE it looks like that ACE is working fine and the problem could be at the user end. One should be able to retrieve a BAR file from the ACEcc content server by specifying the BAR URL. Hence it looks like a configuration error in the user's pipeline.
