This is an IBM Automation portal for Integration products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this RFE has been held in Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration status. As we suspect the initiator of this request is aware, IBM did historically do some work to enable DFDL capability to be utilised within the DataPower runtime, but this has never been formally documented as part of the standard DataPower capabilities. Given this status, and a lack of any formal request in this area from the DataPower product group, we do not intend to make DataPower a deployment target from the IIB/ACE Toolkit so unfortauntely we won't be carrying this request any further forward. Idea is closed.
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - WebSphere
Product family - Connectivity and Integration
Product - IBM Integration Bus (WebSphere Message Broker) - IIB
As a requirement on IBM Integration Bus, we can help ensure that DFDL schemas for IIB are easily transferrable in the event that DFDL is made available in Datapower, and also that there is a consistency in the tooling experience. As DFDL is not yet supported in DataPower, it might be helpful to raise a product requirement against DataPower as well.
