password encryption functionality in odbc.ini file for oracle SSL

Hi Team,

As you know that most of the companies are adhere with Cyber security
policy. In our company (PNC), According to cyber security standard we
should not have to disclose the password in odbc.ini file. It should be
in encrypted format. Is there any way where we can encrypt the password
which we have mentioned below in odbc.ini file.

KeyPassword=password
KeyStore=/var/mqsi/SSL/keystore.p12
KeyStorePassword=password
TrustStore=/var/mqsi/SSL/trust.p12
TrustStorePassword=password

    RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this RFE and apologies for the length of time it has been in Submitted status. We agree that this suggestion would improve the product. We have aspirations to take the odbc.ini file information and unify this with our strategic "policy" files (first defined in ACEv11) and this approach would enable us to do the password substitution / abstraction using mqsisetdbparms/mqsicredentials before passing the data to the ODBC driver. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
