API / command line tool to import WSDLs into a Libzip/Appzip Project, e.g. mqsicreatemmfromwsdl

We use the IIB for implementing an ESB with 200+Services.

Our current workflow for implementing a service requires a WSDL import into the IIB toolkit, which is currently being done during the development phase using the wizard in the IIB toolkit.

New Message Model -> SOAP XML -> I already have WSDL for my Data

The ESB WSDL files are available from the WSRR, having them being converted manually by the developers is an manual error prone step which we would like to be avoided.

To improve the overall workflow quality and traceability we would like to automate this step using a command line tool, e.g. mqsicreatemmfromwsdl or even through CMP API (preferred way).

Idea / RFE Review. Apologies for the length of time this suggestion has been held in the status Uncommitted Candidate / Future Consideration. Unfortunately on this occasion we have decided not to further carry forward this suggestion. We note the fact that although we have not produced an equivalent to the non-strategic mqsicreatemsgdefsfromwsdl (which generates message sets for the MR from a command line eclipse headless tool) for message models ... although the moderate voting record (1 vote since creation in November 2015) on this idea suggests that bulk activity for development in this area is not a common use case.

Thanks for raising this RFE. Adding a Java API for the Toolkit action to create a message model from WSDL sounds like a good enhancement suggestion. Status of the RFE is updated to Uncommitted Candidate.
