Provide Request/Response Logging to the HTTP and HTTPS Connectors in ACE

We want to the ability to get flexible logging of client request/response metrics and data natively from ACE itself without the need for a proxy or other device in front of ACE.

We would like to Log metrics such as http response codes, http request types, request response times, client ip etc out of ACE for all the iServers that have an http or https connector.

All of the metrics we are interest in and more are available to systems that use Apache http server using the mod_log_config.

Idea / RFE Review. Thank you for taking the time to raise this enhancement request, which sounds similar in scope to the work we did in prior versions of IBM Integration Bus to enable Tomcat Access Log Valve in the HTTP listener component of the product prior to its re-architecture. Having deeper diagnostics of the types mentioned would improve the product's usability when interacting with HTTP endpoints. Status of the idea is updated to Future Consideration.
